   NO, this is not true. wood plastic composite heats up much less than for example the ceramic surfaces, and the surface temperature is low enough to walk on it with bare feet.
   
   
2. Does wood plastic composite come in different grades which correspond to grades of wood?
   
   NO, wood plastic composite has no grades. However, its properties are equal to and in some cases even better than those of K33 grade wood.
   
   
3. Can I use floor heating systems in wood plastic composite wood patios?
   
   Yes, you can use heating cables or heating mats. However you should keep in mind that the installation of such heating systems must proceeded in accordance with the principles of building and heating installation instructions. Such heating systems can also be used as an anti-icing system. The recommended maximum heating temperature is 60 deg C
   
   
4. How does the coloring of composite boards change due to the UV radiation in sunlight ?
   
   wood plastic composite is structurally colored, which means that not only the surface but the whole structure is of the same color. In the first six weeks the color stabilizes ( and loses 0.02% of its intensity ) < This does not always happen ! >.
   
   
5. I would like to put patio boards on concrete screed, that is level and has no gradient. Is it possible to cover such surfaces with wood plastic composite boards ?
   
   Yes, it is possible to place the boards on surfaces with no gradient. Appropriate pads must be placed under the mounting joists to form the required gradient. However, this will result ONLY in the water being drained from the surface of the patio! Water will not be drained from the concrete screed.
   
   
6. Is it possible to build a pool beach with wood plastic composite?
   
   Yes, most composite wood is suitable for use around pools, on beaches, steps, platforms, etc. wood plastic composite does not absorb water, thus it can be used in all wet areas without impregnation.
   
   
   
7. How does composite wood reacts to salty and chlorinated water? Does it cause spots and is such an environment conductive to corrision of the composite ?.
   
   wood plastic composite is made from various types of plastics and protected with resins to prevent corrosion. Therefore, it cannot be damaged by salty or chlorinated water.
